Previously PayPal allows Malaysian to withdraw their money from PayPal account to local bank, now PayPal provides a few more services for Malaysian.
One of the new service will be made available is PayPal introduce the support of payments in Malaysian Ringgit. This give Malaysian sellers and buyers the option to send money and get money in local currency for their domestic transactions.
PayPal Southeast Asia and India General Manager Mario Shiliashki said:
The introduction of our bank withdrawal service will help ease the pain for Malaysian PayPal sellers and is just one of the testaments to the investment we are deploying across Asia as well as our commitment to bring innovative, safer and more convenient solutions to Malaysia
I think PayPal made these services – to trade in local currency and withdrawal to local bank – are due to the increase of interest in selling or buying things on the Internet among Malaysians.
For Malaysian sellers, you can sell your thing to Malaysian in Ringgit Malaysia and accept the money exactly what you have shown on you website without the need of currency conversion. Besides, you can withdraw your money as soon as possible direct to your bank account too.
For Malaysian buyers, you can pay the exact amount shown on the website without the needs of converting it to US dollar and then can only know the conversion rate in Ringgit Malaysia after you have receive your credit card statement.
